Rather than simply reading about a platform, participants are encouraged to engage with providers directly by completing activities, exploring tools and experiencing different approaches to skills, credentials and recognition.
The Badge Sandpit is provider-neutral. We showcase a range of platforms, tools and approaches to help participants understand the diversity of the digital credentials ecosystem through exploration and experience.

What does participation include?
Each participating provider receives:
A dedicated provider profile page
Inclusion in relevant Play activities
Visibility through Badge Sandpit communications and events
Opportunities to participate in community challenges and showcases
Access to a growing community interested in digital credentials and recognition
Provider Participation Fee
Badge Sandpit is free for participants to explore. Providers contribute a modest annual participation fee of AUD $750 + GST to help support the ongoing coordination, curation and maintenance of the Sandpit.
This includes a provider profile, inclusion in relevant activity areas, links to your tools or resources, and the opportunity to showcase a hands-on activity that helps people experience your work in context.
For international providers, the annual fee is USD $500.
